The waves in Matuod, Batangas, are very gentle, making its shore perfect for skimboarding. Even this little girl tried skimboarding, but after some attempt, she gave up and found equally enjoyable distractions. Absorbed in her own little world, it seems as if she was doodling on the board using the sand. BERNIE LEDESMA saw this angle when the sky’s reflection on the water was at its best, while the girl’s orange footwear provided a sharp contrast to the blue skies. He shot the image using his Canon 400D.
