Sagada

Bomok-od Falls

This is the majestic Bomok-od Falls or the “Big Falls”, at some 150 feet. Dantoc took this shot on a trek of Sagada, in the Cordillera region, northern Philippines in October 2008. He started his trek from Banga’an to Aguid, traversing a steep trail, walking by rice fields for about an hour under the heat of the sun, before reaching the falls right before noon. Dantoc likes outdoor adventures like hiking, camping and mountaineering. His photos have been featured in the Readers Gallery of Outdoor.
